NY Cabin Rentals: Sunsets, Ice Cream and Making Memories

Summer.  We relish every minute of it.

When folks come to enjoy one our cozy cabins here at Wellnesste Lodge, they often make an evening trip down the road to take in a beautiful sunset.  That's just one of the many outdoor adventures to enjoy here in Central NY, CNY.

Oneida Lake and Sylvan Beach are just 15 minutes from our 60 acre sanctuary and cozy cabin rentals.  Here at Wellnesste and in our surrounding area there's hiking, biking, kayaking, campfires, bbq's, fishing, playing in the water, volleyball and so much more for everyone to enjoy.  You can also just "chill" and let the stress flow away by sitting quietly by the river (we have over a half mile of pristine private river frontage).

Making memories and chilling out are the best way to get rid of everyday stress.  Come join us for a night, a week or a month... we're open all year long for 4 seasons of New York fun and relaxation.

Nature's here waiting for you and so is your cabin.  -Christophe & Family

The smell and beauty of French and English Lavender are one of my favorite sights and scents in the world. Explore the outdoors my friends. Breathe it all in. Live as Lavender lives... Fragrant and lovely. Photo credit: Meghan Marin

Children's Nature Story from Wellnesste on the River

A Pickerel Frog's Tale

Wellnesste Cabins by the River in Taberg, Central NY- Pickerel Frog

In the cool damp darkness

Of the tall green grass

Lay still a little pickerel frog

Waiting for danger to pass

Be quiet like the snake

His Momma would always say

Blend in like the Katydid

Until danger goes away

And once the threat has gone on by

And it’s peaceful and it’s clear

Then hop and play my little frog

Without further thoughts of fear
